POLLUCITE, a very large, superb, complex crystal on a small ALBITE matrix.Shigar Valley, northeast of Skardu, Pakistan.Measures 3-1/4x2x2 inches. The large (2-1/4x2x1-3/4 inch) crystal, because of its multi-faceted nature, looks much like an oversized golf-ball. Pictured in Mineralogical Record, May-June, 2007 on page 205.
